Rock Springs Cafe Display

A friend of Desert Craftsmen has an interest in an Arizona institution known as the Rock Springs Cafe.  Once a stop on the Black Canyon Stage route, the cafe is a taste of yesteryear, a quick stop off the freeway for rest, relaxation, and a taste of some of the best pies upon the face of the earth.  It's also the social hub of the Rock Springs/Black Canyon City Metroplex, which appears nowhere on the list of Arizona towns and cities.  It's that big.

Our friend wondered out loud if maybe we'd like to put a display of our handiwork in the General Store area of the cafe.  Absolutely, we said.  And so we did. 

So when you're coming to Phoenix on Southbound I-17, stop in, have a meal or a piece of pie and a few minutes sitting in a Desert Craftsmen Morris chair.
